I’m Dana, owner of Danaz Designz & Cookies.  A born and raised, lifelong Texan and a VERY PROUD NANA. So naturally, I first began decorating cookies for my grandchildren.  Through this, and word of mouth, I started getting order requests occasionally.  After 29 years in Education, I retired as an Elementary School Counselor.  It was then that I started working to improve my skills.  I watched videos, subscribed to blogs, and learned all that I could from other cookie makers.  

I started posting my cookies on social media, and gifting them to people, which led to me getting custom cookie orders.  I now do both holiday pre-orders and custom orders.  I fell in love with the process from the designing them, to the baking and decorating of a new set. My goal is for my passion to show in every one of my cookie creations.  

I am Blessed to have been married to my best friend for over 20 years.  He serves as both my quality control taster and design critic.  He also puts up with me taking over the whole kitchen when I am working on my cookies.
